Tailor made lessons
Everybody is different. We all come in different, shapes, sizes, habits, personalities, musicality, backgrounds and mentalities. Above all, we are looking forward to get to know you, so we can shape the lesson specifally with regard to your needs.

Basics

We explain the basics such as the posture, the step, walking, balance and embrace in a very organized structure.

Embrace

There are many different styles of embrace which we teach and explain their function.
Learn about all of them or choose your favourite.

Leading and Following

Clearing up the ideology of leading and following and what is needed to perform these roles calmly and softly..

Patterns

We believe that the leaders should fully be able to lead the pattern without any help from the follower.
The follower should only be familiar with the elements of following and not executing the pattern. Hence being able to follow a wide range of patterns without knowledge of them.

Musicality

Having a background in music we can explain it in depth. We can also give music theory lessons to develop a better understanding for the Tango Music.

Ethics

Tango follows a set of ethical codes and rules that should be explained and known. How to contribute and maintain a positive social environment during the dance events. How to accept and turn down dances.

Loosen up!

Sometimes too much learning can lead to loosing touch with "actually dancing"! Our dancing teaching style promotes, through out all stages, to continuously develop and stay in touch with having fun on the dance floor!

Salsa, Batchata, Kizomba for Tango Dancers

Tango Dancers have a deeply developed sense for leading, following and melodic rhythm. Therefore it is quite easy for them to learn basic Salsa, Batchata and Kizomba fast!   Especially for Followers..!!

Tango for Kizomba, Batchata and Salsa Dancers

Since one of our teachers has a long background in dancing Salsa, Batchata and Kizomba, we can teach and explain Tango to these genre of dancers from their perspective. We have discovered that one can mix elements from Tango into all the latin dances and vice versa. Once one understands the core of all these dance styles, one can mix them quite freely. Using all the pros from these latin dances, the students can progress much faster in learning and understanding the mysteries of Tango!

Tango Nuevo (Alternative Tango) vs. Classical Tango
Tango Nuevo has it's foundtion in classical Tango as a dance technique, with the difference that the music that is played is more Electro Tango, Pop music, Sing Song Writer, Ethno style. Even Kizomba and Batchata music are excellent to dance Tango Nuevo to. The motion range is much more in open embrace giving more space between the dancers.
Dancers with Salsa, Batchata, Kizomba would maybe find this style of tango a bit easier to start with since the music and movement in the dancing is more familiar!
